The story behind this design
A nursery sky has to be calm rather than accurate, so the moon here is drawn as a simple crescent with a sleeping face implied by two lines and nothing more. Stars are scattered at three sizes and kept off the center of the blanket, which leaves a quiet field where a child's head would be. The palette is a soft dusk blue with cream stars, chosen over navy so the whole thing stays gentle under a nightlight.
