The story behind this design
Wrapping paper has one design problem no other printed product has: it will be folded, creased and cut in ways the designer cannot predict. This pattern answers that with continuous waves and no discrete motifs, so there is no face or figure to be sliced in half at a corner. The palette is drawn from 1970s interiors, olive and mustard against terracotta, which reads as warm on a gift without being tied to one holiday.
