The story behind this design
The Aries glyph is drawn without lifting the pen, which suits a sign associated with momentum: the stroke starts narrow, sweeps out into both horns and finishes where it began. Keeping it to two colourways, one at each extreme of the tonal range, is a deliberate choice; this mark loses its snap on a heather. Black is where it looks most like a brand than a birth chart.
