250th Anniversary Ribbon Swirls
About This Item
Ribbon swirls run across this DipaliZ commemorative note pad, marking the United States 250th anniversary. The pad is sold in two square sizes, 3 by 3 inches and 4 by 4 inches, on white sheets. The ribbons curl rather than hang flat, which gives the sheet movement without filling it. It suits a desk, a party table or a host gift.

The story behind this design
A ribbon drawn flat is just a stripe; drawn with a twist it becomes a shape that turns through space, and that is the whole idea here. Each swirl loops once, folds back on itself and tapers to a point, with the underside shown in a darker tone so the turn reads clearly. Scattering them at the margins rather than across the middle leaves the writing area intact, which is what separates a festive pad from an unusable one.
