The story behind this design
Earth gets the warmest palette in the series: umber, ochre, moss and a grey-green that stands in for stone. The forms are layered like strata seen in a cut bank, horizontal where the water design is curling. The yin yang appears again, this time embedded in the layering, tying the pair to the rest of the elements set.
