The story behind this design
The artwork sets a pastel bouquet against a deep navy ground, so the flower heads carry most of the light in the design. A butterfly sits among the stems rather than above them. The darker ground is what separates this card from the usual pale Mother’s Day palette, and it is why the pastels read as vivid instead of washed out.

Care
Keep the card flat and dry before writing. A ballpoint or fine felt pen writes cleanly on a coated surface; a fountain pen or heavy ink may need a few moments to dry. Store spare cards away from direct sunlight so the printed colors stay true.
