About This Item
This is a spiral-bound notebook from DipaliZ with ruled pages and an original hanging forest cover. The trees are drawn descending from the top edge of the cover rather than standing up from the bottom. The spiral binding lets the notebook open flat on a table or a lap. DipaliZ sells it in a single size. Page ruling and format details listed here come from this product's own specification.

The story behind this design
Inverting the trees is the whole idea: hung from the top edge, the canopy reads as a border and the trunks trail down into empty space, which leaves the lower two thirds of the cover quiet. It also means the design still works when the notebook is closed on a desk with only its top showing. The greens are layered from near-black at the crowns to a pale wash at the tips, so the forest seems to recede as it falls.
