About This Item
The DipaliZ Sailboat Face Towel is a 13 by 13 inch washcloth printed with a nautical design. The cloth itself is white and the artwork sits on the face of it. The design pairs a sailboat with a ship's anchor, the same emblem used on the matching DipaliZ beach towel. A face towel this size suits a guest bathroom, a child's washbasin or a beach bag where a full towel will not fit.
Product details
- Face towel or washcloth, 13 by 13 inches, one size
- White cloth with the nautical design printed on the face
- Original DipaliZ anchor and sailboat artwork
- Part of a coastal set: the same design is sold as a 30 by 60 inch beach towel
- Sizes and colors here are taken from this product's own specification
The story behind this design
Shrinking a harbor emblem to 13 inches square forces a decision about what to keep, and here the answer is the two silhouettes and nothing else. The sailboat sits above the anchor so the composition reads top to bottom on a hanging cloth rather than left to right. The mood is quiet maritime rather than holiday novelty, which is what lets it live in a bathroom all year.

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colors. Tumble dry on low heat. Skip bleach and skip fabric softener, which coats the surface and slows how fast a cloth dries.
