The story behind this design
Peacock feathers give a square something most patterns cannot: a motif with a built-in center. Each eye anchors a section of the cloth, so however the bandana is folded there is a focal point rather than an arbitrary crop. The barbs between them are drawn as directional strokes, which keeps the gaps busy without turning to noise at printing scale.
