About This Item
The DipaliZ Cozy Woven Blanket is a jacquard-woven throw rather than a printed fleece, so the boho pattern is built into the cloth itself. Three sizes are offered, 52 by 37, 60 by 50 and 80 by 60 inches, and two finishes, Artwork and Photo. A woven blanket shows the design on both faces, reversed in color on the back. It has a fringed weight and drape that a printed throw does not.

The story behind this design
Because the pattern is woven rather than printed, the boho motifs had to be simplified into shapes a loom can resolve: broad bands, stepped diamonds and solid blocks, with no gradients anywhere. That constraint is what gives the throw its slightly archaic look, closer to a coverlet than to a modern print. The reverse face carries the same design with the two yarn colors swapped.
