About This Item
The DipaliZ Pink Magnolia Mug is a black glossy ceramic mug printed with magnolia flowers. The mug is made of ceramic and glazed glossy black, with the artwork printed across the body. The design shows pink magnolia blossoms on bare branches, the way the tree flowers before its leaves open. This mug suits anyone who marks the turn of spring, and it works as a small, specific gift rather than a generic floral one.

The story behind this design
The magnolias are drawn on bare branch rather than among foliage, which is botanically what magnolia does and also what gives the design its open, uncrowded look. Pink and cream petals against the black glaze produce a strong tonal jump, so the blossoms carry the whole mug without needing a background. The mood is quiet and seasonal, more botanical study than decoration.
