About This Item
The DipaliZ Be Your Own Hero magnet is a printed message magnet made in three square sizes, 3 by 3 inches, 4 by 4 inches and 6 by 6 inches. The magnet is thin and lightweight, so it lies flat rather than standing proud of the surface. It holds to any ferrous surface, which covers most fridge doors, filing cabinets, lockers, whiteboard frames and toolboxes. The 3 inch size works as a small desk or fridge accent, while the 6 inch size is large enough to read across an office.

The story behind this design
Be Your Own Hero is a short typographic statement set as the whole of the artwork, with the lettering doing all the work and no illustration competing with it. The layout is deliberately bold and squared off so the phrase stays legible at the smallest 3 inch size and turns into a genuine sign at 6 inches. It is an encouragement piece rather than a decorative one, which is why it tends to end up on a fridge at eye height or a desk cabinet rather than a display shelf.
