About This Item
The DipaliZ glass and bottle matte canvas is a still life print supplied in a black pinewood frame. The image is on a cotton and polyester canvas composite with a matte coating, framed at 1.25 inches deep with hanging hardware included. Six vertical sizes are offered, from 12 by 16 inches up to 24 by 36 inches. The tall format suits a narrow wall, an alcove or the space beside a drinks cabinet where a horizontal print would not fit.

The story behind this design
A wine glass and a bottle stand together against a field of out-of-focus lights, so the background dissolves into coloured discs while the glassware keeps its edges. Light passing through the glass throws warm refracted colour into the shadows, which is where most of the palette comes from. The staging borrows from classical still life but the bokeh treatment is thoroughly photographic, and that mix of old subject and modern technique is the point of the picture.
