The story behind this design
A single yellow poppy is photographed close enough that the petals fill the frame and the flower's edges soften into the background. Water sits on the petals, which gives the image its rainy-day feeling and keeps the yellow from reading as flat or sunny. The palette is narrow, mostly buttercup yellow against a dim green-grey ground, so the print reads as a quiet accent rather than a statement piece.
